This programme aims at training students in solving educational strategy and planning challenges in educational administration.
The specific objectives are:
- Developing a wide range of courses for intellectual foundation in Educational Strategy, Planning and Administration.
- Equipping students with the necessary skills to develop policies in addressing educational challenges.
- Equipping students with practical skills to carry out independent research on Educational Strategy, Planning and Administration.
Upon successful completion, the graduate teachers will;
- Have solid intellectual foundation on Educational Strategy, Planning and Administration discipline
- Acquired necessary skills to develop policies in addressing educational challenges
- Acquired the necessary skills to conduct research on Educational Strategy, Planning and Administration issues.
Admission Eligibility
- A good first degree (at least a Second Class Lower Division) in education or any related field of study from an accredited University; or
- A Third Class degree or Pass graduates will attend selection interview and would be admitted after passing the interview.

iii. An applicant with a 12-month M.A/Med. In Educational Studies/ Educational Administration/Educational Planning degree who wishes to enroll on the M.Phil. programme may be required to take additional courses and present a thesis as prescribed by the Division
