The aim of the programme is to train students to help solve challenges in the teaching and learning of Basic Education.
The programme has the following specific objectives;
- To equip student with deeper knowledge of Basic Education content.
- To equip students with strategies that can improve learners/pupils’ motivation through interactive problem-solving activities.
Upon successful completion, the graduate teachers will;
- Have deeper knowledge of Basic Education to assist them to teach students
- Have developed strategies that can improve learners/pupils’ motivation through interactive problem-solving activities.
Admission Eligibility
- A good first degree (at least a Second Class Lower Division) in Education or any field of study from an accredited University; or
- A Third Class degree or Pass graduates will attend selection interview and would be admitted after passing the interview.
